I wrote and illustrated a storybook about my experience searching for "home," and what that means to me. Growing up Korean-American, I never quite knew where my home was. I didn't belong in Korea, and I didn't look like the majority of the people who live in America either. This children's book captures that feeling of displacement and speaks of the airport as a physical link between my two different countries.
This book was featured in the Society of Illustrator's 60th annual show and book and was shortlisted for the Association of Illustrations World Illustration Award.
