Paprclip
Rebrand + UI Refresh
I am a big Survivor fan and attended a watch party for Survivor 50. I met the winner of season 48, Kyle Fraser, who hired me on a freelance basis to Creative Direct all aspects of the Paprclip app, including a complete brand and UI refresh.

Moji Studio
There was a disconnect between the initial brand and Paprclip’s mission.
At the beginning of the brand refresh, we had about a month before the Survivor 50 live finale, where Paprclip was hoping to launch the Kickstarter to maximize engagement.
I directed Kyle to create a word map of the app’s brand values, and I researched brand studios with similar aesthetics, eventually sourcing Moji Studio as a brand partner.
I drove feedback and art direction with Moji Sutdio’s logo explorations, and with my help Paprclip rebranded in time for Survivor 50 live finale.
Logo Rebrand
After the logo rebrand, I art directed Moji Studio to include an expanded color palette, typography system, and illustration system.
Expanded brand guidelines
As a next step of the rebrand, I’m working with Hannah Saffo, a UX design intern, to guide her in applying the refreshed brand colors, illustrations, and typography to the UI so that the app reflects the same playful spirit as the logo and also feels modern and fresh.
